Morrisons is to improve the level of service received by independent retailers through the appointment of a supply chain and logistics director for convenience and wholesale.
Michael Kosciukiewicz will join the company in the newly created role in January, responsible for supporting Morrisons Daily and wholesale customers. He has previous experience with Asda, as well as fashion retailer Boohoo and ASOS.

Ross Eggleton, Morrisons group logistics, supply chain & technology director, said: “We are very aware that at the end of last year a number of factors impacted our service levels for some of our convenience and wholesale customers.
“We are working hard to fully recover as quickly as possible and improve the level of service and this great appointment is one of a number of steps we are taking to strengthen the business.”
Kosciukiewicz added: “I’m looking forward to getting out into stores and meeting our partners in the coming weeks and hearing how I can support them as we grow together.”
