Monster Energy is teaming up with video game Assassin’s Creed Origins for the first time to launch an on-pack promotion.
The promotion will run until the end of March 2018 and offers fans the chance to win in-game prizes, gaming consoles and branded merchandise.
Each can will have a code under the ring pull, which can be redeemed online. Retailers can promote the campaign with PoS.
Simon Harrison, Coca-Cola European Partners customer marketing director, said: “Given the growth in the energy sector, we’re ensuring retailers get all the tools they need to make this a sales driver, with displays that will encourage trial and prizes to drive repeat purchase.”
Assassin’s Creed Origins will be launched on October 27.
