Mondelez International launches Maynards Bassetts Creepy Chews for Halloween

Mondelez is launching Maynards Bassetts Creepy Chews to help independent convenience retailers drive sales this Halloween.

Retailers can make sure they have a frighteningly good Halloween with a three-strong seasonal range from Mondelez.

New for this year, Maynards Bassetts Creepy Chews, RRP £2, contains individually-wrapped orange and strawberry sweets. It is available in cases of 12.

The company is also bringing back its Cadbury Ghooost Egg, RRP 62p, which launched last year and helped drive £600,000 of impulse sales to the category.

Cadbury Crunchy Spider, RRP 65p, is also set to return and comes in cases of 26.

Susan Nash, trade communications manager for Mondelez International, said: “Retailers should stock impulse novelties in early October. Then on the day, you should get your staff to dress up.”
