Mondelez International aims to take a bigger bite of the breakfast biscuit market with Belvita Tops.
The new launch is available in three-packs, RRP £2.79, and comes in two flavours – crispy biscuits topped with either Coco Hazelnut or Strawberry. Mondelez hopes the additions will drive incremental sales and attract new consumers to the market.
The launch of the new breakfast biscuits will be supported by a £2m marketing investment, including TV, radio, digital, outdoor and sampling activity.
Rick Lawrence, marketing manager for biscuits at Mondelez International, said Belvita Tops was the number three Belvita line in France and it is expected to be a big hit in the UK as well.
“With significant marketing investment, this launch is likely to be front-of-mind with shoppers, so retailers should make the most of the opportunity to get even more out of the UK’s number one breakfast biscuit.”
