Your shoppers can unwrap some ‘joynormous’ prizes, thanks to a huge on-pack promotion running on Cadbury’s eight most popular chocolate bars.
From September 1, Mondelez International is giving away 20,000 ‘surprise’ prizes that will be tailored to the winners’ favourite interests. There will be 100 prizes worth up to £10,000 and 19,900 prizes to the value of £500.
To find out if they’ve won, consumers will enter their promotional packs’ code into the Cadbury website and redeem an online scratchcard. Those who don’t win one of the 20,000 big prizes will go into a prize draw to win £5,000.
The promotion is being backed by £3m of media support, including digital activity, PoS and a partnership with Sky. Outdoor ads will also run close to convenience stores to drive shoppers in store.
Nuria Antoja, marketing manager for Cadbury countlines at Mondelez International, said: “We expect demand to be high, so retailers should stock up in advance and maximise visibility in store with impactful PoS to make the most of the opportunity.”
