With more than 25% of households buying meat snacks, Mattessons is targeting adults with a new premium Savagers range.

Mattessons Savagers is available in Classic Chorizo and Smoked Salami flavours in singles and multipacks of three, RRP 79p and £1.69 respectively.

Hayley Murgett, senior brand manager for Mattessons, said adult snacking is worth five times more than kids snacking and the range would make the category appeal more to adults aged 22 to 32.

“There is little choice on offer to this age group and Mattessons is bringing something new to the category,” she added.
