Mars Wrigley is launching new Maltesers Orange Buttons.
The supplier has become the latest to launch a chocolate orange-flavoured confectionery variety after the flavour’s growth in popularity in recent years.
Other major launches this year include Cadbury’s Orange Twirl, Nestlé’s Yorkie Orange, and FrieslandCampina’s Yazoo Jaffalicious Choc-Orange.

Bought a pack of these today, as adore Maltesers and orange chocolate. How disappointing, as not only do the individual buttons stick together in the packet, the orange flavour is sadly lacking and the Malteser content is negligible. Thought it would be a good combination but no, this needs a rethink before being successful and popular. Will buy original Maltesers and my favourite Chocolate Orange individually to enjoy separately.
