With new products selling on average 8% more, Mars has given its top tips for making the most of launches, such as Galaxy Duet.
Retailers who stock up early and ensure their displays are eye catching and in a high-visibility area can increase customer awareness that new products are available.
Bep Dhaliwal, trade communications manager for Mars Chocolate, said stocking new products in high profile areas like the till will really grab customers’ attention, but recognised that space at the till is limited.
“To support retailers, Mars has created Galaxy Duet outers that tilt upwards, making them really easy to display the new bars in a way that guarantees maximum impact using minimal space,” she added.
Galaxy Duet is now available to retailers in singles in two flavours, Cookies & Cream and Caramel & Shortcake, RRP 60p.
