Mars Chocolate Drinks & Treats has announced the redesign of its Maltesers Hot Chocolate range to help retailers tap into the demand for branded products.
The new design is available now across the brand’s 350g and 180g jars, 140g pouch, 25g single-serve stick and hot chocolate pods formats.
The supplier said that Galaxy and Maltesers Hot Chocolate remains a popular choice with consumers, with one in eight UK households buying one of these branded hot chocolate products last year.

Michelle Frost, general manager at Mars Chocolate Drinks & Treats, said: “The UK hot chocolate category has an annual sales value of £126m with brands continuing to dominate.
“Branded value sales now account for 84% of the market or £106m, demonstrating that hot chocolate continues to play a huge role in our homes and hearts.”
