Local retailers can make a date with success at IRS13 on 6 and 7 October
Everyone visiting the Independent Retail Show 2013 at EventCity, Manchester on 6-7 October is promised they will leave with new ideas to improve sales.
Kellogg’s, Taylors of Harrogate, Booker, NISA and Parfetts are among the leading suppliers who are taking part, helping news and convenience retailers to take their share of the fast growing £34 billion local grocery market.
“The IRS13 will showcase a wide range of new products and offer new ideas and inspiration to help retailers to wow their customers and fight back against the march of the multiples,” said Hayley Pavlou, head of engagement at IRS partner Newtrade.
“Shopkeepers will have a fantastic opportunity to take away new ideas for their businesses. Exhibitors will be showing their latest products and offering exclusive deals.”
Show highlights include:
- Expert advice offered in the Profit Zone
- Symbol Street, a ‘street’ showing different symbol store formats that can support your shop
- Farmers Market where retailers can discover how fresh and local produce can help them demonstrate a valuable point of difference from the multiples.
“At Booker our aim is to always offer our customers the best choice, price and service. This includes Premier; the UK’s biggest and best symbol group, our award winning Euro Shopper and Happy Shopper own-brands and our great value and service at our nationwide branches.” says Dan Marsden, Retail Support Manager at Booker. “Come and meet our team at IRS13 and learn how we can help you.”
The IRS is backed by the UK’s largest trade association, the NFRN, which will be presenting a full range of commercial deals for local retailers to take advantage of.
Held on a Sunday and Monday, the Independent Retail Show is free to attend and provides free parking. Register at www.independentretailshow.co.uk/register.
