Lucozade is going for gold by extending its Lucozade Sport range with a Mango & Passion Fruit variant.
The new flavour is available in 500ml, RRP £1.06, and 4x500ml multipack, RRP £3.69 from March. It will be supported by a £9m marketing investment including TV, sponsorships and digital ads and in-store activity.
A price-marked variant is also available, which will be 79p for a trial period before increasing to 99p in June.
A full suite of PoS is available across the trade. The launch is supported by a TV campaign and out-of-home ads from May.
Vicky Morgan, marketing manager for Lucozade Sport, said the brand’s new products delivered £8m retail sales value last year.
“Following such a successful year in 2014 with our Brazilian Guava flavour, we are pleased to continue helping retailers make the most of the trend for exotic flavours,” she added.
