Reach has launched a standalone magazine celebrating the Lionesses Euro win at the end of last month, enabling independent retailers to continue capitalising on the victory.
The 48-page Euro 2022 Souvenir magazine hit shelves on 3 August and is available until 25 August for £3. The launch gives store owners in England who stock the title the opportunity to earn 75p on each copy sold.
Produced by the Daily Mirror with the aim of giving readers a souvenir of the historic achievement, the issue contains a selection of celebration pictures from Wembley Stadium, alongside a tournament wallchart, stats and facts, and a pullout poster.

Commenting on the launch, the publisher’s group circulation director, John Howard, told better Retailing: “After the marvellous result for England on 31 July, we decided to produce a high-quality standalone magazine to celebrate the triumph. It is a potential new revenue for newsagents and once again demonstrates the agility of our supply chain.
“We also received great support from The Fed as soon as I mentioned that we were considering this launch.”
In response to the announcement, The Fed is urging independent retailers to contact their local news wholesaler to ensure they stock the title, as it anticipates it will sell quickly and generate “huge interest” among football fans.
