Nichols PLC has announced that it is introducing fully recyclable clear plastic bottles across its Levi Roots Caribbean Crush range, along with updated labelling.
The supplier says the move from green to clear bottles will help consumers locate the products on shelf, as well as highlight their recyclability.
500ml clear bottles will be available to convenience and wholesale from 1 April, with clear 2l bottles set to launch on 1 May.

The new packaging comes as Levi Roots soft drinks are experiencing 21% annual growth in value sales within impulse, outperforming the flavoured carbonates sector by 14%.
The range’s distribution has also grown by 3% annually, meaning it is stocked by more retailers than ever before.
Jenny Powell, brand and innovation controller at Nichols, said: “As a business, we want to ensure that we’re creating a happier future for our planet by doing things the right way. By making the bottle clear we’re able to make it easier for consumers to navigate the recyclability of the products, as well as ensuring we align the look and feel across all of the Levi Roots flavour variants.”
