JTI has launched jtiadvance.co.uk as an extra tool for the independent channel, to complement the brand’s sales force, who will continue to provide support.

Retailers must register to be able to access the site, but once completed they will be able to view news on changing legislation, as well as product news and current prices. The website also provides category management advice, a margin calculator, direct links to report illicit trade and aids staff training with quizzes and up-to-date information.
The site is mobile and tablet friendly, allowing retailers to keep up-to-date while on the go.
Jeremy Blackburn, head of communications at JTI, believed the site would appeal to the 80% of retailers currently using online tools to improve their business. “This website will provide 24/7 support to the tobacco trade,” he said. “We’re confident we’ll benefit independent retailers as a whole.”
