Jisp partners with Zoom 1hr Delivery to create Last-Mile delivery

Both companies are in talks to expand their reach and benefit thousands of stores countrywide

Zoom partners with Jisp

Jisp is partnering with Zoom 1hr Delivery to provide a fleet of drivers to retailers as part of a last-mile fulfilment initiative. The new service will allow retailers to deliver their products straight to their customers without having to hire drivers.

Zoom 1hr delivery has a driver fleet of more than 300 nationwide, primarily operating in West Midlands and Wales. Both companies are in talks to expand their reach and benefit thousands of stores countrywide, following Jisp’s collaborations with Bestway and Nisa, as well as Zoom’s expansion with Co-op.

By the end of September 2021, Zoom 1hr Delivery will have served more than 440 retailers and will be bringing in 300 Co-op stores.

Managing director of Jisp Ilann Hepworth said: “I am really thrilled about this announcement. Last-mile delivery has always been the missing link in our proposition as many retailers either didn’t have enough staff, time or vehicles to truly benefit from providing Jisp’s Home Delivery service.

“With Zoom’s impressive fleet of cars and driver portfolio we are looking to rapidly grow store numbers whilst continuing building our reputations as retailer-first convenience service on the market.”

Stores beat new delivery rival Getir on price and service

Chief executive of Zoom 1hr Delivery, Kevin Williams said: “We are excited to embark on a brand-new partnership with Jisp. Jisp shares our vision of empowering independent businesses with a dynamic delivery solution.

“By marrying their slick technology with our operations and infrastructure across the UK, we will be able to better serve retail and food businesses, and vastly improve our own customers’ experience. We believe this new collaboration will be an unstoppable force in the delivery sector.”
