Jisp reports sales of £2.2m in first half of 2024

Mobile app Jisp has announced that it has seen continued growth in the first half of 2024

Jisp has seen sales top £2.2m in its H1 2024, while retail sales were reportedly up by 79% in the same period when compared with H1 2023.

Shoppers saved more than £541,000, up by 63%, while scans rose by 97% and redemptions were up by 99%. This means shoppers are on track to save more than £1m in 2024 through Scan & Save, with £1.8m having been saved since launch.

Managing director Ilann Hepworth said the company’s proposition is “extremely relevant in current market conditions”.

“In the challenging environment shoppers, retailers and brands are all facing into, we offer a solution that provides brands with a promotional route to market, fully supported by an extensive retail media package, that drives sales,” he continued.

“Retailers [also] receive a loyalty rewards platform that builds loyalty.”

He added that further benefits include a growth in footfall and basket size, and an enhanced margin.

“Shoppers receive exclusive discounts on top brands while earning rewards at a level far exceeding those offered by other loyalty card schemes,” he added.

The H1 figures suggest the business will finish the year ahead of 2023 by year end, with the business having reported retail sales of £3.5million for the whole of 2023. The continued growth means Scan & Save has now earned retailers £5.8million since launch.

The number of stores trading with Jisp at the half year point also saw a jump of 59% versus the same period in 2023.

Jisp also recently launched a wholesale specific loyalty platform Confex Savings Club, which has ‘attracted a lot of interest from Confex members up and down the UK’, resulting in a number of wholesalers registering with Jisp to take Confex Savings Club into their businesses.

“The two newest elements to our offering, Scan & Win and Confex Savings Club, have both been ramping up in the first half of 2024,” added Hepworth.

“We have worked closely with the team at Confex to get the first wholesalers set up and ready to launch. In addition, we’re also powering up a food service offering for Confex Savings Club, which will be a gamechanger for that sector.”
