Mobile app Jisp has invested in new barcode scanning with Scanbot’s Barcode Scanner SDK. The investment aims to enhance Jisp’s loyalty programme and recruit more retailers.
The company’s previous scanning solution involved charging a fee per the number of devices that were scanning barcodes for Scan & Save. The new option sees a flat fee applied to allow Jisp to recruit more retailers and shoppers without adding cost.

“As we move Jisp into the next stage of its evolution with a focus on sustainable, scalable growth through our five business units, the ability to expand user reach efficiently and cost-effectively was essential,” added Alex Rimmer, director of marketing & communications at Jisp. “ScanBot has enabled us to take that next step on our journey through fantastic support and an outstanding product.”
