Kentish chocolate brand Jenny Wren is aiming to help retailers drive sales in the ‘poorly-served’ sub-£10 gift sector with its new Christmas boxes.

The box contains three layers of Belgian Chocolates and has an RRP of £1.99. The box is the only independent chocolate to be featured in Palmer & Harvey’s Christmas catalogue.

The company was set up in July 2016 and launched three boxes in Milk, Dark and Mixed Chocolate varieties. Five months later it launched a range of 100g bars, RRP £1.99 and the brand is now stocked by 400 independents.

Mike Stainfield, Jenny Wren managing director, said: “Giving and sharing chocolates at Christmas is a huge opportunity but the mid-range is poorly served and that’s where we slot in.”
