Elizabeth Hughes-Gapper, brand manager for Jakemans, said: “It’s important we offer our customers a variety of flavours and we are absolutely thrilled to be launching our first sugar free product. It is something we hope to do across all of our flavours and to begin with we have chosen a customer favourite, Throat & Chest with its fresh menthol taste.”
Currently, medicated confectionery sales are up by 73.8% in the past 12 months, while unit sales are up by 50.2% in the same period.
Jakemans is a key driver of this growth, driving 89% of real value growth in bag formats in the past year.
