It’s a cakewalk for Crimble’s with gluten-free bars

Retailers can give their gluten-free shoppers more choice at the food-to-go fixture with a new range Mrs Crimble’s cake bars.

The bars, RRP 89p, are available in three flavours, Double Choc, Jammy Sponge and Lemon & Poppy Seed and have been listed by Nisa, Spar and Palmer and Harvey.

Rebecca Vercoe, Mrs Crimble’s brand controller at Wessanen, urged retailers to cater for the rising numbers of consumers going gluten-free.

“Taking gluten-free into the food-to-go section is a huge step forward for the free-from industry,” she added.
