InPost UK network grows 72% year on year

Locker service company InPost has doubled its UK revenue year on year to £456m as a result of network expansion

InPost’s UK network has expanded to over 11,800 out-of-home (OOH) points in its third quarter, representing a 72% year-on-year growth when compared with Q3 2023.

This includes 8,400 locker machines, with the locker company currently the leading automated parcel machine (APM) network in the UK.

Inpost’s UK revenue also doubled year on year to £456m in Q3 2024 – reportedly record high quarterly revenues – supported by rapid network expansion and logistics improvements.

Meanwhile, UK parcel volumes accelerated significantly, growing by 88% year on year to reach 25.1m. More than 30% of this is accounted for by parcels delivered to doors, which has been supported by partnerships with Yodel and Royal Mail.

Stores to see more traffic with new InPost service

Locker-to-address delivery has seen a 215% year-on-year boost.

InPost’s ‘ability to deploy’ additional lockers has accelerated each month this year, resulting in the addition of nearly 2,000 machines in the year to date.

Rafał Brzoska, founder and CEO of InPost Group, said: “In the UK, we achieved record high volumes and good margins. Our recent acquisition of Menzies enables us to fully control UK logistics, enhancing our service offering with high-quality, next-day B2C delivery capabilities.

“As we head into the important fourth-quarter peak, we are relentlessly focused on keep delivering with the best user experience and quality, and to capitalise on the continued volume momentum we’re seeing into Q4.”
