InPost hits 7,000 locker locations with aim to partner with all stores

Locker provider InPost has achieved a 40% increase in locations since March 2023

InPost has revealed it wants to help its retail partners “capitalise” on the demand for its lockers, after hitting 7,000 locations in the UK.

Neil Kuschel, UK CEO at InPost, commented: “We’ve seen significant demand for InPost lockers and thanks to this latest 7,000 milestone, we’ve now achieved a substantial 40% increase in locations since March last year. The locker market remains extremely strong, and we want to help our retail customers capitalise on this demand.”

In November last year, the company revealed it had reached a milestone of 6,000 locker locations.

Kushel continued: “Our aim is that InPost is ubiquitous and that every store has an InPost Locker, and every UK consumer uses our lockers as part of their daily lives. So, this milestone is a big deal for us as it means we’re one step closer to making that happen.”

Earlier this month, InPost released its Q1 2024 results, reporting more than double parcel growth year on year (+147%), with sights set on expanding its locker network in the UK.

The company said that so far in Q2, the business is running at volume growth of +20% at Group level, with total international volume growing at an even faster rate than Q1.
