Parcel company InPost has reported record-high volumes of parcel delivery across Europe in 2024, with its UK delivery doubling to 93 million.
The last quarter of 2024 saw particularly strong growth in the UK with 27.2 million parcels delivered, equalling a 58% year-on-year increase.
InPost also grew its network across the country, ending the year with more than 13,000 out-of-home delivery points, and expanding its network by almost 3,000 machines to 9,200.
The £60m Menzies deal saw InPost take full control over Menzies’ parcel delivery Express business and its Newstrade operations.
Rafal Brzoska, InPost chief executive officer said: “2024 has been another milestone for InPost Group…In the UK, we completed the acquisition of Menzies, giving us full ownership of the entire UK logistics process. Last year, we doubled our volume year on year and recently we launched B2C offering in that market, with over 20 merchants already using the InPost ‘collect’ service.”
The company added that, in the months ahead, it remains focused on expanding its network further and “improving user experience by adding new services and features for merchants and customers”.
