Newsquest has increased prices on a range of daily and weekly regional titles, including the Oxford Mail and South Wales Argus.
All editions of dailies the Worcester News, Oxford Mail, Swindon Advertiser and South Wales Argus rose by 5p, while weekly titles such as the Wiltshire Times and Gloucestershire Gazette saw prices jump by 10p.
Retailers were given as little as three days notice of the change on 9 February, which included pro-rata store margin increases on some titles but percentage terms cuts on offers
