The Fed urged stores to remove Ice Blox vaping products from sale after a distributor informed the trade group that the brand’s e-liquids are not legal to sell in the UK.
VapeDistribution.com sent a message to customers last month stating that Ice Blox products were not listed on regulator the Medicines and Healthcare products Regulatory Agency’s (MHRA) mandatory register.
The distributor claimed Trading Standards is “actively aware of the issue and has initiated regular visits to retail outlets”.
Stores were advised to remove Ice Blox products from display “until their regulatory status is clarified” and to check their ranges are registered at cms.mhra.gov.uk/ecig-new
