IAA Top 100 Map

This week, the Top 100 Local Shops in the UK were named by the Independent Achievers Academy. Shops were assessed against 12 best practice principles and mystery shopping visits were conducted throughout August, concluding with a conversation with the retailer.

Now you can find out where in the country these great shops are with Better Retailing’s interactive map – zoom in to see which areas are the most successful, or click on the stars to discover the identity of each top retailer.

The IAA attracted entries from England, Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland and 55 of the Top 100 shops have been listed for the first time, reflecting the extensive commitment of local store owners to do a better job for shoppers. We publish this map both to recognize their excellence and to encourage the trade to visit these stores. Their combined efforts are helping to move the independent sector forward.
