How Costcutter’s new toolkit could grow your sales

Costcutter Supermarkets Group has launched an online toolkit to help convenience store retailers boost footfall and grow sales.

Costcutter Supermarkets Group is offering independent retailers an online package that could help with business growth.

The “Your Sell More Toolkit” gives retailers access to an array of tools designed to increase footfall, improve customer satisfaction and boost sales.

The tools are organised into four key categories: ‘More from your range’, ‘More from your store’, ‘More from your customers’ and ‘More from your team’, each containing its own set of ideas retailers can implement into their own business.

Retailers using the toolkit can access online packages to assist with staff training, as well as advice on crucial products and guides to key trading periods such as Euro 2016.

“The toolkit launches with some brand new initiatives to help retailers drive footfall and increase sales, including category guides, online training and social media support,” said Daniel Quest, retail director for Costcutter Supermarkets Group.

He added that the toolkit also streamlines some of Costcutter’s most popular support packages.

“We’ve designed every element of the toolkit to be quick to read, quick to implement and quick to benefit from,” Quest continued. “The toolkit will provide a continuous stream of support activity throughout the year with every initiative designed to make a positive difference.”

Following a successful pilot programme in 2015, the toolkit was launched to Costcutter’s 2,600 retailers this week and officially unveiled at this week’s Pro-Retail event. The kit is accessible via the group’s ActivHUB retailer portal.
