Homepride launches seven-strong range of children’s pastas and cooking sauces

You can appeal to health-conscious parents with Premier Food’s new range of Homepride pastas and cooking sauces.

Targeted at children aged 4-7, the pasta sauces are available in Bolognese, Cheesy Tomato and Tomato & Mediterranean Vegetable flavours.

The cooking sauces come in four flavours that tap into the nation’s most popular ethnic dishes, Caribbean Sauce with Mango, Indian Korma Curry, Chinese Sweet & Sour and Thai Creamy Sauce.

They contain no added sugar, artificial colours or preservatives and have an RRP of £1.29.

Yilmaz Erceyes, cooking sauces brand director at Premier Foods, said: “The range presents retailers a big sales opportunity as there are 2.8 million families with children aged between four and seven, and a gap in the market for products that specifically target this age group.”
