Heineken meets Fresher’s Week

With September signalling the return of Fresher’s Week, Heineken is offering shoppers the chance to win music experiences and gifts with its ‘Find your Beat’ promotion through its Desperados (3x330ml and 650ml) and Red Stripe (4x440ml) brands.

Heineken is targeting university students with a ‘Find your beat’ promotion on its Desperados and Red Stripe brands.

The promotion will give students the chance to win prizes, such as tickets to concerts. 

The start of the term year for university students provides retailers with 400,000 new shoppers. 

As students spend two-thirds of their money on alcohol, it’s key for retailers to convince them to shop with them from the start to retain them as loyal customers throughout their time at university.

Heineken said retailers can attract this demographic by advertising offers on social media and making sure their stock is chilled and easy to find in store.
