Hancocks has added 10 new items to its pick and mix confectionery range.
The new items include seven different varieties of Makulaku liquorice, vegetarian marshmallows from Vidal, and gummy sweets and flavoured candy from Kingsway.
New products from Kingsway include Sugared Multi 3D Hearts, fruit-flavoured gummy sweets with a sugar coating, and Yellow Belly Snakes. All products are available in 1kg bags with an RRP of £2.99.

Vidal Veggie Marshmallows are vanilla-flavoured, pink and white coloured marshmallows that are vegetarian and gelatine-free. They are sold in 1kg bags with an RRP of £3.99.
The distributor has also added seven flavours of Makulaku liquorice sweets, available with an RRP of £6.49 for a 2kg bag. Varieties include Apple Stripe Liquorice, Banana Stripe Liquorice, and Giant Filled Liquorice.
According to Hancocks, these liquorice sweets have a profit margin of 60%.

Chris Smith, marketing communications manager at Hancocks, said: “The pick and mix items are a firm favourite amongst sweet-toothed Brits.
“They work well in-store as part of a traditional pick and mix display and offering, and also for online retailers and small sweet sellers wanting to put together fun mixes and packs of sweets. As the leisure sector begins to reopen in April, we’re expecting demand for these to increase even more.”
