Retailers can appeal to their healthier shoppers with new Green Cola, which claims to offer “the same Cola taste, without the bad stuff”.

Green Cola has cut out many ingredients believed to be unhealthy, such as aspartame, because “many customers have growing concerns” about the effects of the product. The drink contains no sugar, no aspartame, no phosphoric acid, no preservatives and no calories.

It has been a massive success in Greece, leading to millions of British holidaymakers pushing for the product to be brought to the UK. Green Cola is sold in 330ml cans with an RRP of 70p, and 500ml bottles have an RRP of £1.30.

Green Cola CEO Paul Woodward said the product offered retailers a unique proposition. “There is nothing else like it on the market,” he said.
