Global Brands is launching a range of alcoholic craft sodas under the Crooked Beverage Co brand to appeal to 20-30-year-old drinkers.
The three-strong range contains Dayglo Skies (raspberry & lime), Mother Moon (pomegranate & peach) and Midnight Stage (blood orange & passionfruit) varieties and are made with natural colours, flavours and fruit juice.
The drinks have an ABV of 4.7%, come in 330ml cans, RRP of £2.50-£3, and are made in Chesterfield.
Charlie Leaver, innovation manager at Global Brands, said that younger consumers are tiring of sweet drinks that have unnatural ingredients.
“We plan to drive value into the RTD category by innovating and premiumising. We’ve made something that’s going to completely change the market,” she added.
