Glen’s Vodka has launched two new flavoured vodkas, Peach & Passionfruit and Strawberry & Apple, available now with an RRP of £13.99 (70cl).
Both flavours have an ABV of 20%, and are available from wholesalers across Scotland, including United Wholesale Grocer, United Wholesale Scotland, Filshill and Bestway.
The new range has been developed to tap into the growing demand for low-alcohol and flavoured options, and the first 24,000 bottles sold will feature limited-edition neck-collars.
According to Mintel research, vodka remains the most frequently consumed white spirit, with 45% of all UK adults having had vodka in the past six months. Over a third of UK adults also say they have drunk flavoured vodka over the past six months.
Looking at RN’s What to Stock data, the top five bestselling lines in spirits are all vodka, with Glen’s Vodka 70cl (RRP £12.99) ranking in second behind Smirnoff Red Label Vodka (70cl), having climbed a place up the chart from 2017.
Alisha Goodwin, brand manager at Glen’s Vodka, said: “The growing interest in flavoured spirits and increasing demand for low-alcohol products presented an opportunity for us to expand the range. The flavoured spirits will sit alongside our Glen’s Vodka and the more premium Glen’s Platinum.”
