Ginsters launches independent exclusive Meat Club snacking range

Ginsters is expanding its portfolio with the launch of Meat Club, a range of meat snacks entering the impulse sector exclusively March 4.

Ginsters is expanding its portfolio with the launch of Meat Club, a range of meat snacks entering the impulse sector exclusively March 4.

The 100% British Chicken Meat Snacks are available in cases of 12 in 60g grab bags, RRP £1.59 and 55g skewer formats, RRP £1.89, in either BBQ Chicken or Tandoori Chicken flavours. 30p will be taken off each price for a trial period running April 10, which will be communicated via stickers on-pack.

The launch is supported by a six-figure marketing campaign including social media activity. A full range of PoS is available for retailers.

Linda Evans, sales & marketing director, said: “Meat snacking is an increasingly profitable sector in convenience, and there’s a big opportunity for retailers to attract new customers.”

Jo Hartop, head of corporate & trade communications for Ginsters, said the snacks target a maturer market than other meat snacks currently available, citing the target audience as 18-34 year olds.
