Rapid delivery company Getir is seeking franchisees in the latest stage of its growth strategy. As reported by the Grocer last week, the company launched its franchise model this month and aims to convert its existing network of dark sites into franchised branches.
Getir uses the dark sites – privately-owned distribution facilities – to pack and deliver goods in up to 10 minutes.

In documents sent to franchise applicants, the company said it was seeking an investment between £138,000 and £203,000. Getir said successful franchisees would see a return on this investment in 24-to-30 months.
Although it chose London for its launch in the UK, the company aims to expand into Manchester, Birmingham, Brighton, Liverpool and Bristol.
