Gearing up to face future challenges
On 16 May 2024, around 250 of the most influential convenience and forecourt operators, along with pioneering suppliers and industry experts, will come together for the next instalment of Retail’s Best Forecourt & Convenience Partners at the Radisson Blu, London Stansted. The aim of the event is to create stronger relationships and improve business through an exceptional evening of networking and knowledge sharing, including panel discussions and a smart exhibition.

2024 marks the 10th anniversary of Retail’s Best. Described as ‘the networking event of the year for roadside retail, food to go and tech for retail’, Retail’s Best has a unique ingredient – it is designed ‘by retailers, for retailers’. The event brings together the decision makers from a host of the top independent forecourt operators and convenience retailers to network, share ideas and tackle the hot industry topics in a relaxed and non-competitive environment.
Its founder, Moiz Vas, is an entrepreneurial retailer with a family business of forecourts and convenience stores in the UK. Ten years ago, he had the vision to create a series of unique and exclusive networking events that would give independent retailers and forecourt operators the opportunity to ask questions and seek answers to drive their businesses forward. From small beginnings, the event has grown to attract a high calibre of participators with a robust network of retailers and forecourt operators supporting the event, and each other, behind the scenes.
Each year, Retail’s Best brings together hundreds of the top operators and decision makers in motor fuel and convenience retailing to tackle hot industry topics. It is proving a magnet for more and more key people from the sector to attend each year. This year, some 250 independent convenience store owners and forecourt operators are expected to attend, representing around 3,500 sites between them.
