Funkin Cocktails has launched a new £4m advertising campaign called “It’s Funkin time”.
The campaign is above-the-line, featuring out-of-home advertising in prominent areas, as well as TV, social media and digital advertising. It runs until August, with TV adverts set to air from June.
Funkin’s advertising investment comes as the ready-to-drink (RTD) cocktail brand saw a 104% sales growth in 2021. According to Nielsen, £1 in every £5 spent on RTD cocktails was spent on Funkin lines.

It is part of the brand’s wider £9m investment in advertising and retailer support.
Ben Anderson, Funkin Cocktails marketing director, said: “This is an exciting step for the Funkin Cocktails brand, our biggest and brightest national campaign to date. Our great tasting, bar quality cocktails are available no matter where you are, for all occasions – whenever you’re feeling fine.”
