Fresh ideas shared at the Local Shop Summit

On the second day of Better Retailing LIVE 2014, Retail Newsagent presented the Local Shop Summit.

With three leading figures providing key note speeches in the morning and six breakout sessions creating widespread discussion throughout the day, this year’s Local Shop Summit provided attendees with a huge number of ideas for their businesses.

Speaking afterwards, One Stop franchisee Dee Sedani said he had a good debate with fellow retailers, where the importance of keeping it simple was highlighted.

Raaj Chandarana of Tara’s News said: “It’s been all about networking and developing new ideas that we can capitalise on as independent retailers.”
