Kinder is moving into the sharing market for the first time with the launch of Kinder Bags.
The six-strong range, which enters the market from January, comprises three sharing bags for Choco-Bons, Kinder Chocolate Mini and Kinder Chocolate with Cereals Mini, RRP £1.55, and three smaller on-the-go bags in the same variants, RRP 54p. All of the variants include individually wrapped bite-sized chocolates, with the larger sharing options featuring a convenient re-sealable tab.
The launch is being supported by a £1.3m marketing campaign, including a TV ad, which kicks off next year, sampling and PoS.
“We believe it will be a really strong incremental sales opportunity for the brand,” said Levi Boorer, Ferrero customer development director. “We know how important smaller stores are when it comes to driving trial and sales. PoS is free through our trade website and at selected depots and pre-filled units can be ordered from Ferrero.”
