PayPoint is to introduce BrightHouse payments to its range of services available at convenience stores.
Retailer BrightHouse operates by allowing customers to pay for electrical goods and furniture in monthly installments with interest. The company currently has 199,000 customers.
The new partnership was first revealed by BrightHouse as it announced plans to shut 30 of its 270 branches following pre-tax losses of £22.1m for the six months ending 29 September.
PayPoint commercial director Lewis Alcraft said: "This agreement marks our continued efforts to provide convenient ways for people making essential payments and to help control their household finances.
"We’re pleased to be working with BrightHouse, giving customers the flexibility to choose from thousands more locations when they want to make a payment”.
A BrightHouse spokesperson added: "We're introducing PayPoint, allowing customers to pay BrightHouse in cash at 28,000 locations across the UK."
