Nisa has signed a five year contract extension with convenience store chain TYS, which will see TYS explore expanding its C-store estate in the Peterborough area while being supplied by Nisa.

TYS says it is now “considering working with Nisa on a dual branded store to put our own name above the door in the local community,” according to Siva Thievanayagam, owner of TYS Retail. “Nisa is supportive of this which is another reason why we want to work with them. We are proud to be TYS, proud to be supplied by Nisa and proud to be providing Co-op products,” he added.

The Nisa fascia is recognisable to our consumers, and everyone knows the brand very well in our area. The team at Nisa has been fantastic in supporting us, and we look forward to continuing this relationship.”

“We’re thrilled that TYS Retail has chosen to extend their contract with us. Over the past 10 years, Nisa has built a strong relationship with Siva and the team, and we’re excited about the possibilities for further growth. We look forward to seeing how TYS Retail continues to expand in the future,” said Katie Secretan, Nisa’s Sales & Retail Director.

The move comes as part of Nisa’s ongoing expansion, which insight firm Lumina Intelligence calculated would result in an 18% increase in the retailer’s footprint before the end of 2024.
