Morrisons is in the early stages of launching its More loyalty scheme into Daily franchise stores, marking the first time a supermarket rewards scheme would be available across independent convenience.
Senior sources close to the multiple confirmed it was “in the very early stages” of talks to make it available through partnered EPoS firms. Another source added: “It’s something that’s been requested by franchisees.”
Morrisons relaunched its More loyalty scheme into supermarkets in May. Working similarly to Tesco Clubcard and Sainsbury’s Nectar, More customers receive rewards points every time they shop.
Asked by Better Retailing to comment on the launch, a Morrisons spokesperson said: “We’re always trying to improve the shopping experience for customers across all of our store formats and so we’re working with our loyalty team to see how we can make our More Card available across more channels.”
