EXCLUSIVE: Boost lunchtime sales with Chozen Noodle

Retailers can bolster their lunchtime sales and stand out from the competition as a new franchise comes to convenience stores.

Retailers can bolster their lunchtime sales and stand out from the competition as a new franchise comes to convenience stores.

Chozen Noodle has partnered with Midcounties Co-operative Food in Leamington Spa, Warwickshire, to appeal to the store’s nearby office workers.

The franchise offers sushi and salads, as well as Asian hot food dishes like Katsu Curry, Sweet Chilli Teriyaki and Red Thai Vegetable Curry.

It will take up 12-15sq metres of space in store and requires an initial investment of up to £50,000.

Matthew Kirby, Chozen Noodle CEO, said initial trading in the store was encouraging and that lunchtime footfall had increased.

“I think a branded Asian offer has a wide customer appeal and helps to create a real point of difference,” he added.

The move takes Chozen Noodle to 21 locations, with four more units planned to open in the next six months.
