Epicurium adds 17 new ranges

The new ranges aims to help retailer retain new customers

Epicurium

Specialist wholesaler Epicurium has increased their range with the addition of 17 new ranges to help convenience retailers retain new customers and appeal to a wider audience.

The brands now available through Epicurium include Blanco Nino authentic gourmet corn tortilla chips, Pri’s Puddings, producing refined sugar-free vegan mini pecan pie puddings and Fullgreen, a brand creating microwavable pouched cauliflower and vegetable rice alternatives.

The line-up also includes Fulfil and Yes Bar, with the wholesaler claiming the other ranges tap into the different flavours and healthier alternatives which shoppers are looking for.

How can convenience retailers meet the growing demand for healthy snacks?

The new additions come following retailers calling on the wholesaler to add more brands that appeal to evolving consumer tastes. The wholesaler said the new ranges tap into the latest trends and provides retailers with a further opportunity to target shifting shopper habits and convenience top-up missions.

Ben McKechnie, managing director and co-founder of Epicurium, said: “While still hugely disrupted, convenience retail has had a very different journey over the last few months.

“We’ve been very fortunate in being able to support the shift away from supermarket shopping by offering our retailers a reliable source of differentiating snacks & drinks to satisfy their newfound customers.

Grow your snack sales with healthier lines and premium products

“With shoppers staying at home, unable to travel and enjoy their usual entertainment, the ‘big night in’ category has really come to the fore with shoppers looking to travel from their sofa and experiment with new tastes of the world.

“Sharing sizes, new flavours and premium indulgent options are all driving forces in this category.”

James Christie, trading manage at Epicurium, added: “After following closely shifting consumer attitudes, to help capitalise on this and ensure our retailers are getting the most from their shelf-space, we’re launching brands that tap into the ‘big night in’.

“We’ve brought in products both well-known and new, and offering ranging and fixture advice to all retailers.”
