Following the brand’s relaunch earlier this year, Drench has unveiled two new sparkling cans to drive soft drinks sales.
The launch marks the first time that Drench is available in 330ml cans, RRP 79p, and comes in Raspberry & Cranberry and Grape & Elderflower. The cans are targeted at consumers aged 30 and above.
They will be available from wholesalers at an introductory case price of £5.99.
Britvic is supporting the launch with an outdoor advertising campaign, which will promote the fact that the drinks contain no artificial sweeteners, colours or flavourings.
Kevin McNair, marketing director for Britvic Soft Drinks, said adult consumers are leaving the soft drinks category in favour of tea, coffee and water but taste is still important.
“Extending the range and providing new flavours and formats under a recognised brand will ensure retailers can meet their consumers’ needs and drive sales of adult soft drinks in store,” he added.
In March, Drench refreshed its core range and launched Peach & Mango and Strawberry & Lime flavours.
