A new trademark filed by Dhamecha has suggested the wholesaler is launching an own-label wine brand.
On 8 September, the firm submitted a trademark for “The Grape Escape” brand. The filing was listed under a class 33 for “alcoholic beverages, except beers; alcoholic preparations for making beverages.”
Dhamecha has previously filed trademarks for wine brands, with the last application submitted in 2003. One wholesale expert told RN the own-label would likely be a value range, if made available to retailers.
