Wholesaler Dhamecha has launched an app to improve service in cash and carries for retailers.
The app, which launched last month for customers at the company’s Wembley branch, enables store owners to browse up-to-date pricing, promotions and availability levels in their nearest depot. Users can also pay securely for cash and carry items.
One retailer who has been using the app told Better Retailing: “It is useful and very easy to use. It allows you to scan barcodes of products using your phone’s camera, and lists information, such as nutritional content and profit margin.
“There are some improvements to be made, such as simpler login, as it’s quite easy to forget what your password is.”
