Dee Bee Wholesale is now serving hundreds of former Blakemore Wholesale customers following the purchase of the struggling company’s former Grimsby depot.
The deal for the site, which closed in July following Blakemore’s decision to sell its 12 depots in April, was completed this month. Dee Bee Wholesale managing director Nick Ramsden said: “Having attracted a number of new customers following the collapse of Palmer & Harvey, we continue to grow our Today’s symbol store estate as well as expanding our coverage areas.
“We saw this as an excellent opportunity to further grow our business in North East Lincolnshire while providing former Blakemore customers with a seamless supply transfer.”
