A Cornwall retailer has donated £3,000-worth of sports equipment to three local schools to after winning Birds Eye‘s Kit Out Your Community competition.
Charlotte Southgate of Premier Gunnislake won the competition, which was launched in the summer alongside the supplier’s Green Cuisine brand partnership with Team GB at the Tokyo Olympics, and saw more than 500 convenience retailers apply.
£1,000-worth of equipment including branded balls, bibs and hula hoops has been donated to three Cornwall primary schools.

Commenting on the prize, Southgate said: “We’re delighted to have won the competition and to have the chance to repay the store’s long-standing connection with the community. Our local shoppers have been so important to the store over the last few years, so it’s been great to give back to them through the Kit Out Your Community competition.”
