Booker, Bobby’s, Cotswold Fayre and Epicurium are unlikely to reclaim debt owed by their collapsed former drop-shipment partner, IDC, according to the administrator’s latest report.
The report, released by ReSolve last month, revealed the firm had insufficient funds to pay back nearly £6.6m in debt owed to 350 unsecured creditors. These include major suppliers into stores, including Bobby’s (£501,640), Booker (£13,976), Consort Frozen Foods (£84,580), Cotswold Fayre (£49,034), Eden Farm Hulleys (£210,640), Epicurium (£156,564) and Roberts Bakery (£53,172).
IDC went into administration in February, with many suppliers halting orders after not receiving payment. Wholesalers subsequently took over direct control of drop-shipping services.
